San Francisco Unicorns defeated the Los Angeles Knight Riders by 21 runs in the ongoing Major League Cricket (MLC) on Wednesday.
The Unicorns, who are now at the third place in the points table, successfully defended a target of 213 runs.
Matthew Wade was declared Player of the Match for scoring 78 runs in 41 balls, with the help of seven fours and five sixes.
It must be noted that North Texas (Grand Prairie Stadium, 1600 Lone Star Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX) and Greater Raleigh (Church Street Park, 5800 Cricket Pitch Way, Morrisville, NC) will host the 19-match tournament.
Six teams, representing Dallas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Seattle and New York City, are competing in the event with the final set to be played on Sunday, July 30.
